More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
volunteer and charity work where I supported kids in group settings by helping with activities, supervision, and creating a safe and welcoming environment. Through this experience, I learned how to be patient, attentive, and flexible while working with children of different personalities and ages. I enjoyed building positive connections, encouraging participation, and making sure each child felt supported and included.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoors, I love doing creative activities like drawing, crafts, reading stories, and playing games that keep kids engaged and learning while having fun. Outdoors, I enjoy going on walks, playing at the park, and encouraging active play in a safe and supervised way. I always try to make activities fun, age-appropriate, and positive, while making sure children feel comfortable, happy, and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is being someone families can truly rely on and trust. It’s about more than just caring for children, it’s about supporting parents and giving them peace of mind, knowing their kids are safe, loved, and well cared for. I understand how important it is for families to have help and time to recharge, and I love being able to step in and provide that support. Being able to give children patience, attention, and affection, while creating a safe and happy environment, is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in both a child’s day and a family’s life is what makes being a nanny so meaningful to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was during cleanup time when a child very seriously told me we needed to “race the toys” back into their bins so they wouldn’t get tired. We turned it into a silly game, and suddenly cleanup went from a struggle to laughter and teamwork. It was a small moment, but it showed me how turning everyday tasks into fun can make kids feel happy, heard, and excited to help.
