My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for over 40 special needs adults in the last two years. I worked in a day program/art studio setting. Then when the pandemic hit, I switched to in home nannying one of my studio clients who is 38 with Angelman’s syndrome. I also recently worked as a independent nanny with a 22 year old woman with autism, which mostly included completing/facilitating activities of daily living and keeping her busy, by running or driving all over Saint Louis to explore the sights!
