I have worked as a substitute teacher for the Houston Independent School District for the past 6 months. Prior to that, I was volunteering at elementary schools, children's hospitals, and daycare's in South Carolina to be a children's mentor. Allowing me to work with children with the assistant of with experienced teachers and professionals.

I consider myself a very active individual. I love doing things that involves the outdoors. That includes going to the park, botanical gardens, or simply taking a walk around the neighborhood.
I also love incorporating things with the little ones that allows them to express their artistic side. I believe every child is creative in their own way. I would bring forth activities that included painting, drawing, building with legos, and so much more!

I have had prior experience working with children with special needs with the age ranges of 4yrs old-10yrs old. I have worked with children who have autism, learning disabilities, or behavioral issues. I have learned that every child just needs patience and love and they are able to accomplish anything they set their mind too.
