More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have hands-on experience caring for children in several settings. As an older sibling, I’ve helped with daily routines, homework, meals, and keeping younger kids entertained and safe. I also worked in a daycare alongside my aunt, where I assisted with group activities, supervised playtime, supported learning, and helped maintain a structured, nurturing environment for children of different ages. In addition, my time working in ice cream shops taught me patience, communication, and how to stay calm and friendly while interacting with kids and families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing activities that keep kids creative, active, and happy. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading stories together, playing outside, and helping with simple learning games. I enjoy doing puzzles, coloring, building with blocks, and making up fun imaginative play scenarios. I also like baking easy treats with kids, doing age‑friendly science experiments, and creating little projects that let them explore and express themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel supported and understood. It’s about building trust — not just with the kids, but with the parents — and being someone they can rely on every day. I believe in showing patience, being present, and truly listening to each child’s needs. Whether it’s helping them learn, encouraging their confidence, or simply being a comforting person they can count on, the heart of nannying is making children feel secure, valued, and cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, supportive environment. I’m comfortable helping with routines, offering extra guidance during activities, and adjusting tasks to match each child’s abilities and comfort level. I focus on clear communication, positive reinforcement, and making sure every child feels safe, understood, and included. My goal is always to support their independence while being attentive to their unique needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a child accomplish something they had been working so hard on. I love watching their confidence grow — whether it’s finally finishing a puzzle, learning a new word, or mastering a small routine. That proud little smile they get when they realize “I did it!” is the kind of moment that reminds me why I love caring for children. It’s those tiny victories that make the job meaningful.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Yarmouth, MA: Sean L.
Hi! My name is Sean Liddy. I’ve lived on Cape Cod for most of my life but have just got back from two years in Glasgow, Scotland for my MA in Literature. I spent my later high school years doing some babysitting and have watched my family and close family friends children for most of my life. I grew up looking after my baby brother and my nephew and my time with them are some of my favorite memories. I’m incredibly social and active; I love to take up most of my days with kids outside, playing games, drawing, and keeping them occupied. I’m a good cook and would be happy to help with meal prep. I’ve been a waitress for most of my life and it’s made me incredibly prepared to anticipate and meet people’s needs. In my spare time, I love to read (my greatest passion), spend time with family and friends, and be active outdoors.
