Hi!
My name is Allie and I’m 23 years old.
I’m originally from a small town in Texas, and I am fluent in Southern Hospitality.

I’ve been working and volunteering in childcare for about as long as I can remember. My mother was a joint children’s minister and director of the Parent’s Day Out at our local church, so I’ve been in and out of classrooms since I was a small child.
My professional work includes working as a preschool teacher at my local YWCA during the summer, and an after school counselor for school aged children during the school year. I'm currently working at a local daycare in the Rincon area.

Prior to my current position, I worked as a lead infant teacher at a locally owned daycare.

I enjoy hands on activities with children, as I believe that children learn best when doing and experiencing.
My favorite crafts I’ve done with children is making snakes out of paper plates, making ooblec, and painting rocks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny, I enjoy being a present figure in the children’s life and providing specialized, one-on-one care that a child otherwise cannot receive in traditional daycare settings.
I enjoy making memories with and helping children grow steadily into the best version of themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment in my childcare history is when a four month old learned to untie my shoes.
I’m proud to say that by nine months, he could successfully drag my shoe off of me entirely while I prepared his lunch.
