Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over three years of experience working with children from infancy through elementary age. I currently work as an Infant Teacher, where I spend my days caring for, teaching, and supporting young children as they grow and reach new milestones. Before that, I worked in a preschool classroom and coached gymnastics for children ages 1–10. Working with children has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I truly love building relationships with them, helping them learn through play, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can be themselves.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include art projects, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and anything that gets us moving. I love being creative, whether that’s painting, drawing, building, crafting, making up stories, or turning a cardboard box into something magical. I also enjoy being active with children through sports, dance parties, playground trips, nature walks, and exploring the outdoors. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and believe some of the best childhood memories come from messy art, digging in the dirt, collecting treasures outside, and letting children follow their curiosity. I love helping children learn, create, explore, and simply enjoy being kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part is building strong relationships not only with the children, but with their families as well. I believe the best care happens when there is trust, open communication, and a true partnership between caregivers and parents. I love getting to know each family's values, routines, and goals so I can provide consistent, personalized care. Being welcomed into a family's life is something I don't take lightly, and I strive to be a reliable, supportive, and positive presence for both the children and the people who love them most.

My experience with special needs children...

Throughout my time in early childhood education, I have worked with children from infancy through preschool age who had IEPs and IFSPs. I have collaborated closely with families, therapists, specialists, and other support providers to help meet each child's individual needs and support their development. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating an inclusive environment where every child feels supported, valued, and able to thrive at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

While I haven't worked as a nanny before, my favorite part of being an Infant Teacher is getting to watch children grow into their own unique personalities. There is something so special about being part of those early years and seeing them gain confidence, learn new skills, reach milestones, and discover who they are. I love building strong relationships with the children and their families and getting a front-row seat to their growth, development, and everyday accomplishments—both big and small.
