Hello! I’m Allison, I have a love for all things Disney, outdoors, and puppies! I am also extremely passionate about youth education and working with little ones. I have been working in a preschool setting in some capacity for going on 7 years, and I have nannying experience through some of my students at those jobs. I am SIDS certified, First-Aid/CPR certified, and ECE/DCF certified. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

-[phone number hidden] was enrolled in my high school’s ECE/preschool program in which I learned about early childhood development as well as how to care for, nurture and teach young children. I received my first aid, CPR, DCF and ECE training and certification, and also taught and volunteered in the preschool.
-Summer 2020 I worked at Sunny Side Daycare in Boone, North Carolina as the Lead Teacher for children ages 3-6.
-August 2020-Present I am the Lead Teacher in the older infant room at The Learning Experience in Huntersville, North Carolina. I have loved curating lesson plans, caring for the children and gaining so much experience with these young children. The only reason I am leaving is to move down to the Lexington area!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Art and reading are two of my FAVORITE activities to do indoors. I also love putting creative spins on sensory and motor activities. As far as the outdoors go, I love it all! I enjoy teaching the children about nature and the world around them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making the children feel comfortable where they are at! I know they are human just like the rest of us and have their good days as well as their bad days, so I aim to make sure that as their nanny I am also a safe space at all times.
