A little bit about me

I am 21 years old, I just graduated from West Virginia University. For the past 2 and a half years I have been a teacher thats uses the Reggio-Amelia approach, which is child led learning. I have also been a babysitter for multiple families that attend the school. I thrive in the outdoors and going on adventures, and sharing that passion with children! While working, my responsibilities included: lesson planning, potty training, observing kids and tracking their development, developmental assessments, parent communication, and of course loving and caring for all the kiddos! I’ve worked with all ages from 6 weeks to after school care as a classroom floater, but more recently I have been working with 18-36 month olds. I am familiar and aware of all ages developmental milestones as well as how to help kids reach those milestones. I specialize in emotional regulation and sensory needs! Teaching kids that their feelings matter and they are strong is an amazing privilege!
