My name is Alondra, I am 21 years old. I have worked with children in the past and have babysat for my younger cousins, one being a baby. I’m currently helping my young cousin with his zoom classes, homework, and tutoring him with the extra help he needs.

I’m skilled in supervising activities of children of different ages all while providing a safe environment. I sometimes like to plan fun activities myself, including the outside if permissible. I’m able to bathe, change clothing/diapers, help with homework/school, and prepare meals when necessary.

I keep a cool head and like to plan things ahead of time of how the day will be like. I am reliable and flexible whenever help is needed. Being compassionate and hard-working all while having some fun is something I strive for.

Took a volunteer job my senior year of high school in Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I worked exclusively with one student attending elementary school to tutor and assist in homework. Spent our time together by engaging in her favorite game and activities when we had spare time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play hide and seek, bake, watch movies or tv show, color or make crafts, play board games, play video games, paint or draw, play pretend with what they like to imagine, sing and dance, go outside to play when weather is great.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Nurturing and compassionate. Being able to connect and have a bond with the children to build a safe, yet loving relationship. Knowing a nanny is going to love and care for your child at all times. Nanny should be welcoming and understanding of a child’s emotions as they are developing.

Not to mention being able to make wise and quick decisions in certain situations. Being reliable and having trust not only with the child but with the parents as well. A nanny must respect your home and privacy.
