Being a nanny isn’t like any other job. It’s not about going in and working your hours and receiving a paycheck. For me, it’s about building a relationship with both the parents and the kids. I got the opportunity to work with a family who set milestone goals they wished their little one to accomplish. It was a huge blessing to see that by the end of my term, she had not only reached her goals, but even developed more. All those little videos and pictures I took each time she achieved her milestones, it was super rewarding to share with her parents. I loved staying and seeing her show her parents in person and seeing her parents overjoyed was one of the most rewarding moments in the job.
