I took care of two boys my first year of college. My favorite memory was taking them to the local park. There were quite a lot of kids there that day. The oldest boy was having a hard time interacting with the other children. I decided to make the playground a “pirate ship” and we were all pirates and the ground had sharks. It turned into a really fun game and of course the kids changed things using their own imagination. The best feeling was seeing the oldest go from being nervous to laughing and adding his own ideas into our pirate ship game.
