My experience with special needs children...
I have always had a love for specail needs children my whole life. In elementary school I would always hang out with specail needs children because I often saw how other kids treated them. At a young age I grew up knowing they are exactly like us but just have a few different things for attentive care. They are amazing, smart, and the sweetest children in the world. Throughout middle school, I created a Thursday lunch day for kids to hang out with special needs kids and play sports with them! It was such a fun way to stand up to bullying and have people unite in fun activities. When I went into high school they had a best buddies program, which was basically the same thing but every day I would grow deep and very personal relationships with al the kids in the class. My love for them is unconditional Now after graduating, I am taking child development classes at occ and focusing on my art career, but would love to help a family care for their son or daughter in the best way possible!
