Howdy! My name is Alyssa McDaniel and I am a college student from Corpus Christi, TX. I love working with children and being beneficial to their early education and life! I am CPR, first-aid, and doula (just in case!) certified. I have experience working in a daycare setting as a Lead Teacher for 3-3.5 year old children, and working with children one-on-one at home. I am very hands-on and love to spend my time interacting with children through education and play-time. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at two early education day-cares that were education heavy. I was lead teacher at both schools for their three to four year old classes. I have experience working one-on-one with children with two different families with between two or three children at a time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outdoors and taking walks with children or going to the park if they are able. I also enjoy doing small educational exercises and tasks in the home, as well! I truly enjoy seeing children learn and grow, and willing to put in the dedication your child deserves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Education and building life-skills are what is most important to as a caretaker. I believe that not only is a healthy and happy environment an absolute must for a child, but supplying them with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful are just as important!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment while in child care has been when I got to help all of the children in my class decorate cakes from their moms. I love anything cooking/baking(I learned from the best.. my mom!) related so being able to see the children have so much fun putting little cakes together just for their mom was very heart-warming for me!
