A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Alyssa. I am a 25year-old,mom of an amazing 4-year-old son. I have been in early childcare since high school. I've been working in childcare since 2020. After having my son in 2022. I spent the first year of my son's life nurturing his growth and development, until we decided he was ready for daycare.
I then worked at the daycare inside the infant room. Within the infant room, I work with many babies, from tummy time, movement development, bottle holding, baby food to solid, crawling, walking, solo standing, and speech development. I've worked with all age groups, from potty training to youth teaching, teaching new games, helping with homework, and so much more. Nurturing and caring for the youth is something I'm passionate about.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I have childcare experience, so I understand the importance of patience, trust, and being dependable. My goal is to make kids feel secure while helping them grow and learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working in childcare was helping a shy child come out of his shell. He usually stayed to himself, but with patience and encouragement, he started joining our morning meetings and even participated in a bubble party with the other kids. Seeing him feel more comfortable and included was really rewarding.
