A little bit about me

I am a 22 year old woman looking to expand a career with working with children. I love working with children because I remember looking back on the teachers, coaches, and babysitters in my life, knowing they had a huge impact on me. This inspires me to have that kind of positive influence on other young children. Growing up in a household full of children, as my mom did foster care, gave me the opportunity to help watch over children of all ages, personalities, and even those with major health issues requiring attentive care. I also worked in my church nursery for a year in the infant room and served as a personal nanny for a private couple, watching over a two-year-old little girl. alongside that, I occasionally looked after her siblings, adding children between the ages of 4 and 9 to my responsibilities. Sometimes, I was in charge of all four children, which taught me a lot about patience and understanding when managing more kids than I was used to, as well as older ages.
