The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are safe a nurtured. I do my best to be an extension of their parents as far as love, discipline and overall daily life.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for a dance nonprofit where I was a dance coach for kids with special needs. Some kids were very self reliant and didn’t need much guidance and others needed more attention as far as what they were able to do on their own or comprehend. That was one of my favorite experiences, I just loved seeing how much joy dance brought them! It’s fun seeing them dance their head away!
The most important part about being a nanny...
There’s so many, it’s hard to narrow it down! I would say my favorite moment was when the child I nannied would always insist that I came to every family event! She’s they type of girl who can take time to warm up and can also be very opinionated, so knowing that I felt like family to her really meant a lot.
