More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a Registered Medical Technician and have over 10+ years of experience with handling children in the medical field.

I also have a little over 5 years of experience with personal childcare for family and friends. Children ranging from 3 months old to 5 years old and also experience with children with autism.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor: reading to them to expand their young and developing minds, finger-painting with permission of course with non-toxic paints, simple arts & craft activities depending on the age of the child to educate them in colors, shapes, names.

Outdoor: with permission of course from the parents, taking the children to the park, and even outdoors, teaching the children about nature and creation

The most important part about being a nanny...

is that i get to help the families and become their "village", their "community" that they need to be able to be providers for their home. But i would have to say most importantly, to keep their children safe from the harm of others. This world can be so cruel sometimes but with love and humilty I do my best to set an atmosphere of honor, trust and love. Again, I treat everyone the same and love to build with others.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with one child who has Autism. I have taken care of him since he was just 3 months old before the diagnosis. He is now 5 years old. The parents allowed me to be apart of his Occupational Therapy to further assist their needs with taking care of thier son. It’s been an amazing journey to watch their son and be a part of his development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

was being able to go to the pre-k 3 or pre-k 4 graduations of the children i got the honor to assist with. Its such a beautiful and emotional experience when you have such a great bond with the families.

And of course we have plenty of funny moments too. Children are tiny little comedians sometimes. The stories or even the responses you get from them when you build a bond with them and trust from their families is the best.
