I am a mom of 2 and have been working with children for over 20 years. I have had successful long term families for the past 7 years and am hoping to find a part time family to fill I'm with current family that I am working with. Prior to being a nanny I was in the daycare field for 15 years. I love all the ages of life. The baby stage, potty training stage, teaching to preschool and being that friend to do fun stuff with. I will do very light house work and and meal prep for the children's meals. I don't mind kind dogs and even will take them on walks if I am able. I would love to chat.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a lead teacher for 12 years at PreSchool U and prior 2 other daycare in Kenosha. I also am in the nursery at church. My greatest accomplishment is I am currently a school bus driver for grade school and high school. ( I would like to leave this employer and just nanny. That is where my heart is)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy being outside!! I also love the story times at the libraries. Outside activities: walks, bike rides, parks, sidewalk chalk, water activities if possible. I have been known to make an amazing snowman and I do enjoy sledding. Inside activities: (all age depending) crafts, reading stories, playing make believe, coloring, I can make an amazing train track and Lego structures as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing the growth in the children. This warms my heart. From learning to crawl ro walk. Eating a new food.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have quite a few. But if I had to pick is when the little girl I was working with asked me to take off her training wheels on her bike. That was just one of the very best moments I had with this family. (I am still in contact with them and have "playdates" with this same little girl a few times a year)
