The most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship with each child. When children feel safe, loved, and understood, they’re able to learn, grow, and become the best version of themselves. I want every child in my care to know they’re important, capable, and always have someone cheering them on.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children on the autism spectrum between the ages of 18 months and 7 years old. I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every child communicates and experiences the world differently. I enjoy helping children build confidence, celebrate their strengths, and feel supported while having fun and being themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories was helping a little girl who was nervous at first become comfortable enough to ask me to read stories, color with her, and play games together. Watching her confidence grow and seeing her excitement every time I came over was incredibly rewarding and reminded me how important patience and consistency are when caring for children.
