Howdy! My name is Amanda and I am passionate about nurturing and educating kids. I am a certified teacher (early childhood-6th grade). My educational philosophy is to care for the whole child, not just the cognitive aspect. I also love fostering children's interests to develop intrinsic motivation, inspiring them to become lifelong learners. This is why I pursued my M. Ed in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on developmental sciences. I recently graduated from Texas A&M University this past August.
In addition, I worked at an early learning center (6 wks to 5 years) for 10 years. I loved every minute of it! I am also a bonus momma of four amazing kiddos. Needless to say, I have ample amount to experience to put your mind at ease. More about me-I am a Christian, so I hold true to conservative values.
