A little bit about me

Hi my name is Amanda, I am a licensed teacher in Massachusetts (Elementary License). I ran a non-profit After School program for over 15yrs. Our program worked with many low income, single parent households. Our center was licensed with The Department of Early Education & Care (EEC), and we had children ages 2yrs 9months - 13yrs old.

I have years of experience working w/ students with special needs. Throughout the years, I’ve working closely & collaboratively with parents & families, being an advocate for their children, attending any IEP and or 504 plan accommodation meetings with parents whenever asked to do so.

I understand that every child is different and what works for one child or family may not work for the next. I love working together and discovering what makes a child thrive!

Although my professional work has been with children 2yrs 9months -13yrs old, I also have a niece who is now 4yrs old, and I loved caring for her as an infant & toddler whenever needed!
