A little about myself... I am 39 yrs old. Married 17 years with an 20 yr old son and 9 yr old daughter. I have been the children's Sunday School teacher at our little home church for 7 yrs and have watched my students grow up along the way. My husband preaches and we have a nursing home ministry as well. So I do have 5 yrs experience in volunteering at nursing homes and caring for elderly residents.

My experience with special needs children...
My nephew is a brain cancer survivor which has caused him to be blind, partially deaf, amongst other physical and cognitive injuries. He was 10yrs when diagnosed and he is 15 years old now. I am a part of his daily life and have helped care for him during this long road he is battling. He's our warrior!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments when caring for children are helping them reach milestones as they grow. For example: learning to eat solids, learning to crawl and toddle. I enjoy activities that teach them with play and crafts. I have experience in preK teaching as well.
