A little bit about me

I am 28 years old and a mom to four-year-old “T” and one-year-old “I”. I have always had a passion for working with children and knew I wanted to work with them in some form or fashion. I started young, did volunteer work at after-school programs, babysat for family and friends, and eventually worked with children after graduating high school. 10 years later I still enjoy connecting with parents and their children. My family and I love to get outside, explore Colorado, play, relax, and get creative. I personally enjoy creative outlets such as knitting, painting, building, baking, gardening, and designing. I am currently homeschooling my four-year-old and am fully available for weekend and evening care or date nights. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Besides being a mom for the last 4 years, starting in 2014 I worked in a daycare setting for 4 years split between two Child Development Centers. My professional experience was at Marine Corps Base Hawaii and Buckley Air Force Base Aurora. I worked primarily with Infants (ages 6 weeks-12 months) but have experience with children up to 5 years. I then stepped into the nannying world and connected with two families for a nanny share. I cared for two little's from the time they were 3 months to 4.5 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Child-led walks, arts and crafts, culinary activities, independent play, outings to nearby parks, lakes, and green spaces. I also love to take kids to any parent allowed places such as children museum, zoo, gymnasium, music class, swim class etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping your children safe is the number one most important, second is supporting their independence and unique capabilities and third would have to be encouraging their interests through play. I also love building lasting friendships with parents and their little ones.
