My name is Amanda Magee, and I'm 27 years old.
Although I don't have my own kids I have worked in daycare, nannied, and babysat for over 6 years. I worked in daycare from [phone number hidden] until the facility I worked at closed down. While working there I had children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Once the daycare closed I continued to do nannying/ babysitting services for my families I met there. I also have a bachelor's of science in elementary education grades 1-5! I’m not currently CPR certified but I am familiar due to being certified in the past. I’m currently looking for summer work but I’m also open to baby sitting during the school year for date nights, weekends, school holidays, etc!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over a year of experience with daycare (6 weeks to 5 years old) and I’m also a certified teacher of elementary education. I have multiple years of babysitting and nannying for a total a 6+ years all together.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing indoors and outdoors
Baking activities (I have my own small business in baking and my past kids have loved doing the activity while I'm with them)if their age permits 3 years and up.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is making sure that your child/ children feel safe with me while their parents are away no matter the age. Seeing your children feel safe with someone gives parents a better feeling when going about their day knowing they will come home to happy and well taken care of little ones!

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience with kids with special needs but I do have experience with children who have ADHD and tempers.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has been watching my kids who were once babies now graduating from kindergarten, pre-k, and going into elementary school. I’ve also loved seeing some have some of their firsts ( crawling, walking, talking, and smiling).
