Hello, my name is Amanda. I have a Child Development degree and I have been CPR/1st Aid certified many times. I love reading and art. I have 30+ years experience, including Nannying, Daycare Director and owning a Preschool. I also have 2 grown children.

I am positive and love to find joy in everyday simple things. I am optimistic and love life! I am a lover of animals, the outdoors, music and creativeness. I am respectful and respectable, I am punctual, rarely get sick and professional. I take direction well and will accommodate you in your parenting style. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, Art, Crafts, playing make believe and dress up, telling stories, singing together, swimming, going on adventures, park days, going to the gardens, zoos, aquariums, children's museums, these parks, riding bikes, walks with a wagon or walking with the stroller, getting them involved with responsibilities/chores, cooking and baking with them, growing flowers and herbs with them, taking pictures, making funny face pictures, teaching them new skills, teaching them to read, taking every day items and making something out of it, being creative, telling jokes with them, making pizza with faces, watching princess movies together, this list is endless, honestly!! Etc, etc, etc

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is always the number one importance, but coming in at a close second is instilling the love of learning, reading and art in children! They take their cues from us. I speak very positively about school and homework, that it’s fun and exciting to learn. This can make all the difference. My older son graduated from high school with an Associate's degree. My younger son is graduating from a private high school, a year early, this year! They have both loved school and been Honor Roll students.
