More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to working as a full-time nanny, I've worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing one-on-one support to children with autism in home, school, and community settings. I've also worked in a children's fitness center, where I supervised and engaged children of various ages in a safe and fun environment. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to each child's unique personality and needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning activities that are both fun and engaging! Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading books, baking simple treats together, going to parks and playgrounds, outdoor walks, imaginative play, puzzles, board games, sensory activities, and age-appropriate educational games. I enjoy encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence while making sure children are having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. I want families to feel confident that their children are safe, loved, and well cared for while they're away. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while creating a positive environment where children feel supported, respected, and free to learn, grow, and be themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
As a Registered Behavior Technician, I have extensive experience working one-on-one with children with autism. I help teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using positive reinforcement and individualized support. This experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to create a calm, encouraging environment where every child feels understood, supported, and capable of succeeding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is watching children accomplish something they've been working hard on—whether it's learning a new word, mastering a new skill, or simply gaining the confidence to try something new. Seeing their excitement and knowing I played a small role in helping them grow is incredibly rewarding and reminds me why I love working with children.
