I have experience caring for children as a toddler teacher in a licensed childcare center, where I supervised children throughout the day, planned engaging activities, supported their learning and development, assisted with meals and snacks, diaper changes and potty training, maintained nap schedules, and ensured a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. I also communicated regularly with parents about their child’s day and worked closely with my teaching team to meet each child’s individual needs. I love keeping children active, engaged, and learning through fun activities! Indoors, I enjoy arts and crafts, reading books, building with blocks or LEGOs, puzzles, sensory play, imaginative play, music and dance, baking simple treats, and educational games. Outdoors, I enjoy taking children to the park, going on nature walks, playing sports and active games, riding bikes or scooters (when age-appropriate), drawing with sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, and exploring the outdoors. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence while having fun.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their parents through open communication, patience, and consistency is essential. Although I haven’t worked as a nanny before, I have experience caring for young children in a classroom setting, where I’ve learned the importance of being dependable, attentive, and creating fun, engaging experiences that support each child’s development. I’m excited to bring those skills into a family’s home and provide the best care possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working with children was seeing a child who was initially very shy and had a difficult time adjusting to the classroom slowly become more confident. By being patient, encouraging them, and making them feel safe and included, they eventually started participating in activities, playing with other children, and greeting me with a smile each morning. Watching them grow more comfortable and happy reminded me how much a caring and supportive environment can make a difference. Moments like that are why I love working with children.
