Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Serving as classroom helpers for our school’s middle school musical program, where we supported and supervised younger students during rehearsals and performances. In addition, we’ve cared for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children, both for family members and local families who trusted us to keep their kids safe, entertained, and well looked after.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We always start by making sure each child feels comfortable and safe with us. Once they’re settled, we love getting to know what they enjoy every kid is different, and we want to support their interests! Some of our favorite go-to activities include singing, karaoke, playing board games, playing sports,and just giving them space to use their imagination and do their own thing. Whether it’s creative play or quiet time, we’re happy to follow their lead.

Building trust and creating a safe, caring environment where children feel valued and protected. It’s about being responsible, patient, and attentive to their needs—both physical and emotional—while supporting their growth and happiness every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of our favorite babysitting moments was when we were watching two siblings, and they asked us to put on a “mini concert” with them. We spent the evening singing karaoke, dancing around the living room, and even helping them create fake tickets for their parents to “attend the show.” It was such a fun way to connect with them, and by the end of the night, they didn’t want us to leave! Seeing kids open up, laugh, and feel comfortable being themselves around us is what makes babysitting so special.
