My experience with special needs children...
Not very much. I had a child in my class that needed a headset and his own fidget toy. They were his own. No one else was allowed to play with them, and when he needed his time, he was able to be sat and played with his toys and silence if he needed it And no one would bother him and he was able to have that time would talk to him and make sure he would have what he needed and keep an eye on him be soft, be gentle and make sure to make sure they’re comfortable
