My mother was a former employee of WIC and when I was in girl scouts in my middle school years we would do a monthly baby-sitting while the mothers attended a class.

Indoor: Coloring, reading books, playing with toys (I’m a kid at heart!) , introducing older interactive shows from my childhood, listening to music and dancing.

As a graduate of psychology and a victim of emotional abuse from my own childhood who has researched trauma, I see so much importance in really making a child feel important and special and true to themselves. I think nannying is an amazing way to show how much a parent cares for their child when they accept support from others. It really does take a village.
