More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Previously, I worked for the local state preschools and for a private preschool. I attended college and obtained an associates degree with an emphasis in education, and took a multitude of child development classes.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my passions are nutrition and nature. I love sharing and helping children learn the basics of nutrition and healthy foods to eat that fuel their body. I love getting outside with the kids. Nature walks are one of my favorite activities or finding crafts to do outside.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny or working with children is really just providing that sense of security and structure. When children feel safe and cared for, they can confidently express themselves and grow into their personality all while having guidance navigating their day-to-day challenges and excitements.

My experience with special needs children...

Although I have not worked in a specific setting for children with special needs, I have had children in the Preschool setting who had diverse learning abilities and pushed my learning and growth as a childcare provider to accommodate and encourage their development in the most positive ways possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children has been when I get those little hugs out of no where. They run up and give you the biggest hug and I feel so happy knowing that I have made a child feel safe and cared for.
