More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been a nanny for multiple families over the years, collectively around six. They have all been different ages from infant to seven years old. I was also a preschool teacher for the last four years, specifically for 2 1/2 year olds to four year olds. I have worked in multiple rooms in my old center, so I do have experience with all ages ranging from infant to 13 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of the activities I really enjoy doing with children are sensory boxes, I did a one in my classroom That changed with the seasons. I also really enjoy arts and crafts. I do them in my spare time at home. I also enjoy nature walks in learning about the earth around us. And finally I really enjoy learning about the children I work with and finding a new activity I can do with them that engages their mind.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have a whole lot of experience with children with special needs. I have worked with a few children on the spectrum, and I am more than opened to learning more.
