When I was in high school I volunteered a lot at the ymca interacting with the kids and keeping them active.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
playing board games, puzzles, playing outside like riding bikes, playing with chalk, going swimming or even a good old fashion sprinkler, coloring and watching them create a picture, along with of course play dough, older kids its listening to them about school or friends, and with the boys watching them play video games and they love to explain what they do while time or somwtimes I play along with them.

What matters about being a nanny to me is making sure the kids know that they have someone always around for them and that they have a listening ear when they need it.
My experience with special needs children...
I use to be an aid for special need students in high school, along with I use to care for a special needs teen. My duties were to care for her in feeding her, changing her, and being her support in emotional break downs that she could not control.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment with the most recent family was when the all the kids built this huge blanket fort durning a storm and the power went out they were so proud of them self's and it brought all 5 kids to work together as a team and a family to create something unique.
