Hi, my name is Amber, and I’m a Christian nanny with years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages.
I’ve been babysitting since I was about 10 years old as a job, but my experience started even earlier since I grew up in a large family with 9 siblings, 3 of which are younger than me. That gave me a strong foundation in patience, responsibility, and understanding children’s needs from an early age. I also have 3 nieces that I’ve been around since they were newborns. Outside of my family, I care for babies and young children regularly at my church, where I enjoy holding, feeding, and calming infants, as well as interacting with toddlers and older kids. I try to prioritize fun, active, and creative time with kids, both indoors and outside. I try to keep screen time limited and focus more on hands-on play, outdoor exploration, and crafts when supplies are available. I enjoy things like playing in the yard, going for walks, exploring nature, chalk art, bubbles, and simple games like tag or catch. Indoors, I like doing crafts, building with blocks or toys, reading books together, baking simple snacks, or coming up with creative play ideas.
