I have 5 years of childcare experience. I worked for a daycare and have worked for three families as a nanny/house manager. I enjoy being a nanny because I get to be a positive role model in their lives as well as take part in their growth and achievements. I'm rewarded with the feeling of being a member of the family and building long lasting relationships with them. In my free time I practice my artistic skill, spend a lot of time outside, and I'm always looking for something new and fun to do. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a childcare provider at a Day Care's Before & After School program for 2 school years and 2 summers where I looked after children between the ages of 5 and 12. In 2016 I found an opportunity to become an Au Pair in France for family with two children ages 6 and 11 years old. After moving back to Wisconsin I became a nanny for a family with 3 children ages 2, 4, and 9. Most recently I was a full-time nanny/house manager and took care of 4 children ages 1, 4, 6, and 10 years old. My Au Pair/Nanny responsibilities included transporting the children to and from school and their extra curricular activities, preparing meals daily, and doing household tasks such as laundry, doing dishes, running errands, and cleaning.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing outside, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, science projects, bike rides, going to parks, building with toys, playing board games, and anything else that the kids love to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have found that the most important parts about being a nanny are being punctual, reliable, nurturing, and personable. Being a nanny, to me, is about connecting and engaging with the children and providing a safe, warm environment for them to express themselves, learn, grow, and have fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have experience working with children with special needs but I am willing to.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I really love the bond I shared with all of the families I have worked with. We had silly nick names for each other, favorite activities we liked to do together such as go to the park, get an ice cream treat in the summer, and bake cookies together. My favorite part of being a nanny is is the connections and relationships I've built with the families.
