Hi! My name is Amberlee, but if it's too long you can call me Lee. I'm 21 years old, bilingual, and trying to earn money to complete the rest of my A.A. as I took a gap year in between. I enjoy painting, coloring and I've begun hobbies like creating clay art, baking my favorite bread (Pan Sobao: Puerto Rican Sweet Bread), and also slowly developing a corner for collecting plants/gardening. I hope I can be of great service to any family I can, as I hope to use this experience for myself when I have my own family!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've taken care of two babies who were in my family, but I worked mainly with infants/toddlers while at O2B Kids. I left due to moving away from the center I was at and only getting 3 hours Mon-Fri.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really can enjoy getting creative, but also enjoy sensory activities! However, if they're 4 years old and up, I definitely love getting active! Sports, outside games, competition; I'll get serious for any game I play with a child, lol.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part to any nanny job is being able to keep the child happy and engaged. If you're boring, the child is bored. I also think safety is THE most important; I'd never want to be in a situation where the nanny I hired wasn't supervising the child enough, leading to an incident.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was caring for one of my boyfriends, stepbrother's 6 month old and she is SO strong that she'll grab anything in front of her. It was my first time seeing a baby so strong!
