I worked as a summer school teacher assistant for 5 summers, was a respite care provider through an agency that required billing and filing through medicaid for children with special needs, a full time nanny for a child with special needs that involved house keeping, meal preparation, and toileting and a part time nanny for a newborn (under 12 months).

being able to connect with children. Children who feel safe, supported, and comfortable enough to be themselves is a must for me. There is nothing more special then working with a child and they feel comfortable enough to open up and let you see their amazing and bubbly personality!
