The most important part about being a nanny...
When a kid in the nursery started mimicking me and learned her animal noises. It was out of nowhere but I noticed that one of the one year olds was trying to repeat vowel sounds I was making. (Ex. O,Er, Ah)so I tried to see if she could do a neigh sound while showing her a horse toy. she did it back perfectly so we went on to other animals and by the end of the hour she had a ton of animal noises down! It was cute and funny but mostly unexpected this one year old really just liked to point instead of verbalize it was a victory for both me and her parents.
