More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Throughout my High School career I had volunteered at children's orphanages and hospitals. In [phone number hidden] I was part of a reading program for learners at risk. We would also assist was homework. The group including myself would meet a few times a week at their school with the goal of them improving while having our support and friendship. After all of the hours spend, I would that I wanted to pursue childcare. So I became seaious facilitating and I tutored learners in a literacy and numeracy program which was very successful. In 2020, was my first paid experience caring for a 4 year old. I prepared lessons, wrote up schedules and potty trained her at the time. 2023 my Au pair career was kicked off starting by getting infant qualified, CPR training. In 2023, MICHIGAN. I cared for a 4 ,2 and 2 month old year old siblings. 2024, WASHINGTON I cared for siblings 14,11,8.

I absolutely love the outdoors and enjoyed it with the children in my care.

To me, what's most important is making sure that the children are feeling safe, loved and having fun. I is also important that myself and the parents communicate clear and respectfully.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had three girls (14)(11)(8) in Seattle. It was one Sunday morning I had made myself a yogurt with fruit sliced on the top. I then went over the girls (11)(8) to see what they were up to. They then asked what I had made myself and answered and asked if they would like some. "Sure, that looks delicious '' said they 8 year old. "Umm, no thank you" said the 11 year old. I made the bowl and a few minutes later they 8 year old tried it and I convinced my 11 year old to try. Funny enough, the girls ended up sharing the bowl with the 11 year old finishing the bowl and completing a bowl. It had became a snack I made for her everyday and even the weekends.
