A little bit about me

My name is Amy. I have taught students with autism and other disabilities in an intensive behavioral intervention unit for the last 14 years. I had a PCL reconstruction on July 23rd and am still on disability due to the physical nature of my job (aggressive behaviors, transporting students across campus during a tantrum, etc.). I have experience with children of all ages. I have teaching certifications in k-6 Elementary, k-12 Exceptional Student Education, k-12 English Language Learners, and an Autism Endorsement.

I have a 23 year old daughter and sons that are 6 and 7. I have my sons every other week. I am not sure exactly what I am looking for as I always thought I would retire from the school district. I am looking for new adventures!
