A little bit about me

I worked at the Nest Daycare and learning center for four years and have experience with special needs. I worked diligently with children and was responsible for their safety and academic help. Maintained a child-friendly environment by allowing frequent access to outdoor activities and organized , engaging recreational activities such as games and puzzles. Maintained important documentation such as detailed daily record of the children's individual activities, snack, nap etc. Promoted good behavior by using the positive reinforcement methods. Apart from working at the Daycare I used to be a mentor in Newtown CT at the REACH program where I had the opportunity to work with special needs kids. I also took a class, Tools for living, designed to mentor and aid special needs students and help guide them through everyday adult activities.
