A little bit about me

Hi families, my name Is Ana Medina , I am a bubbly individual, who loves kids and animals. I have worked with kids since I was 15( I am 1 of 5 kids in my family). I believe in teaching kids manners and learning fundamental concepts( organization, cleaning up after themselves from a very early age. And getting them into good habits. I also believe kids strive on routines, so getting kids into a concrete routine is very important to me( I know routines can be boring haha, but a staple routine is important, activities must definitely vary. And I don’t believe in screen time, unless it’s necessary. Or we’re watching an educational video about whatever we just learned( I love doing at least 30min - 1 hour of learning time ).

I worked at a day care for 6 months with kids ranged 4months - 3 years old .

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy doing with the kids are going to the park, going to the museum, painting, Drawing, learning time regarding different topics, or sometimes reviewing same topic all week depending on kids ages. I enjoy when kids have interest in helping out with lunch prep or laundry. And Singing and dancing is a must . ( toddle/ kids music to clean pop music if acceptable)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is being a good example and role model as a caregiver. And Letting kids be kids but with firm boundaries that both parents and nanny have communicated. And safety is always first.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I get to see the different milestones each kids hit. And knowing they are learning and grasping what is being taught, although the kids won’t have me forever, what I love is to leave a positive impact in every child’s life.
