Currently, I care for a wonderful 1.5-year-old. Stimulation is consistently guided through age-appropriate play and activities, time spent outdoors, and positive affirmations and attention. I keep a familiar routine for feed/nap/play. I have excelled in basic infant care such as diaper changing, burping, swaddling, cooing, feeding, bathing, and milestone celebrations. I also like to focus on the mental, physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of a child/person. I keep a daily log and journal of my routine, have no screen time, and want to take many courses to learn more about childcare development.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to play games that we can learn from each other. I, of course, love to draw and can teach drawing and painting skills. We go to parks, zoos, museums - really anything to keep ourselves busy. Playing games, doing homework, and making learning exciting. Build a fort, play dress up or cook together. It really depends on the age and what the child is interested in.
