My experience with special needs children...
I've had the opportunity to work with special needs children throughout high school, and by volunteering to be a peer mentor. My experience includes volunteering as a peer mentor for autism workshops, where I supported children with autism in their daily activities and social interactions. This role allowed me to develop strong communication skills and learn various techniques to help children manage their behaviors and emotions. Additionally, I participated in school programs where I assisted children with different learning disabilities, providing them with the necessary academic and emotional support. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability in caring for children with special needs, and I am passionate about continuing this work as a nanny.
