In England I am a specialised nurse in the operating rooms (known as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)). Since moving here I am unable to practice as an ODP but still, of course, have a strong passion for helping others. I have extensive medical training (I have kept up-to-date with my CPR whilst being out of practice), and lots of experience caring for children in the medical setting. I also have 16 nieces and nephews in which I have cared for many of them on numerous occasions, have cared for friends' children, and I cared for 2 children, aged 3 and 5, in Charleston SC, in the 4 months I lived there.

All my best memories are outdoors! I am a very outdoorsy person who would love to share that passion with the little ones.
