A little bit about me

I have been a full time nanny for over 14 years. I am certified as a post natal doula and as an newborn and infant care specialist. I have worked with multiples, large families, as a household manager, children with minor special needs, as a teachers assistant in a child care center while going to university for early childhood education. I am always up to date on my CPR and first aid. I have a clean driving record and a safe car to use, I am experienced in running a busy household while caring for multiple children and the chaos that ensues with busy children, parents, classes, errands, and taking care of a house. I have travelled with families on vacation and consistently done 24 hour care for up to two weeks at a time while parents are away on vacation or work trips. I run a house from top to bottom, including cleaning, cooking, shopping, doctor appointments, sports, laundry, classes, some animal care, meeting with repairmen or appointments, doctors, school activities or appointments, and anything else that parents can come up with. I can Also give 100% of my time and love to your children if you have no need for a household manager. I am always looking to advance my knowledge in childcare and build on my experience. I am just starting work on adding more hours to my post natal doula certification and taking online classes for early childhood education director associates degree. Working with children has been my only career and I love it. I could not imagine myself doing anything else. From art, to hiking and play dates. From indoor playgrounds to rainy/snowy day forts.
