I have cared for children for over 30 years—as a nanny, summer camp counselor, youth leader, teacher, private tutor, and mom. I have 7 children (3 are adults now), all of whom I have home educated. I have an early childhood and elementary education degree.

To me, making children feel safe and loved is the most importantly part of nannying. I think it is importance to engage children with gentleness and positive guidance as you give them safe options and healthy boundaries.
