A little bit about me

I have been working with kids since I was 12, first training as a mother’s helper, then becoming the neighborhood babysitter, then nannying. As a nanny I worked for homeschool families as their teacher, a caretaker for a special needs child, overnight for a nurse, and the longest nannying gig I had was 7 years. I’m still in contact with all the families I’ve worked for.

I’ve also worked as a teacher for preschool to 1st grade kids at 2 schools, and have worked after school care for all elementary ages at another school. I also have 17 years of experience teaching early levels of piano and 3 years tutoring at Kumon. I even work with kids at a local dance studio, where I take care of the front desk and manage getting kids checked in for their classes. My current full-time job is teaching Tk-1st grade at a small private Acton/Montessori school.

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, writing, cross stitching, being with my wonderful family, and hanging out with my cat.

"I highly recommend Sierra. Both of my children were in her Montessori-based classroom, and I am so grateful for the care, guidance, and encouragement she gave them during their time with her. Sierra has a special ability to connect deeply with children while also helping them grow in confidence, independence, and kindness. Under her guidance, my children became stronger readers, learned valuable conflict resolution skills, and developed a genuine love of learning. She is warm, patient, attentive, and truly cares about each child as an individual. I have no doubt she will be a tremendous blessing and asset wherever she works."

A little bit about me

Hello! I am a current nursing student looking for a summer break part time job, from may to mid August.

A few things about me.. I love all things outdoors, crafty, and fun! I love going to the pool, on hikes, and the beach!! I’m a big big advocate for children to play outside and use their imagination, I think it creates so many memories and social skills.

I am a Christian woman and incorporate those values into my life daily. God, my family, and my friends are my whole world!

Looking forward to reaching out and finding a perfect family to work with!

A little bit about me

My name is Whitney and I am looking for a kind and authentic new family to work with. I have been a full time nanny for three families and a part time nanny for many others. I have an undergraduate degree in Child Development, a Masters in clinical social work (counseling), and worked in Adoptions for 7 years. I would describe myself as calm, patient, loving, creative, educated, articulate, independent, naturally-minded, trustworthy, and protective. I am very experienced with infants, but have worked with children of all ages. I am a mother of older children and they will be in school during the day. I am looking for a position that is 3 days per week, ideally between the hours of 8:30 - 5:30, and around 24 - 30 total hours per week. I am not available on Fridays. I am willing to do any and all household management responsibilities. I am also open to a position that is primarily or fully household management. I prefer families who are looking for a commitment of 1 year or longer.
