When I babysit children I enjoy watching them learn as they experience things that our world has to offer. For instance, I would show them the different kinds of birds in a book and we will go outside to find and identify those birds.

When my daughter was 8-years-old, she had the lead in the church summer musical. I asked her to go upstairs to her room and learn her lines and return to the den where I would run lines with her. She came down in ten minutes and that is when I knew I had a very special child because she had learned the many lines.
