Hi!
I’m a 48 year old married mom of 3, (my youngest is 19). I have extensive experience caring for babies and children, whether it be as a nanny for several years, in a school setting, (including educating children with special needs), at gymnastics as I was a coach or with my many nieces/nephews that I’ve cared for over the years. My favorite job on earth, however, has been being a mom!

I’m an empathetic, optimistic & loving person and I’ll love your babies like they’re my own!

My oldest daughter is 29 and we're very excited as she and her high school sweetheart are going to become parents soon! She’s shown me how fast it goes...perspective is such a gift!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Paraeducator for special needs children for 6 years, in SCV. I worked with mild, moderate and severe children for 6 years.
I was a gymnastics coach for 7 years. I ran birthday parties and classes for kids ranging from age 2 up to teens.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy everything except extensive time in front of a phone/ipad/computer screen. Of course there is always room for that, I just prefer it’s not ALL we do! I love the outdoors, parks, walks, playing ball, making up silly games, challenging them with riddles, slipping educational things into fun time, swimming, eating healthy foods, cuddling, drawing, coloring, singing songs, reading, watching movies, making them laugh, being goofy, and having fun together!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is being trusted by baby AND baby’s parents. It just won’t work without trust.
Second most important is knowing how to connect with the baby…being a safe, warm place for them to grow and feel loved.

My experience with special needs children...

See above! I have the experience but am looking to care for non-special needs children for now.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when the precious baby girl I recently nannied for, ran to me with such a happy face and squealed adorably after not seeing me for a couple weeks. It was the sweetest welcome back! 🥰
